The location is convenient and easy to find from the train station. The staff were helpful before arrival and during the stay, the bed was comfortable, the facilities were good, and the place was very quiet.

The hotel is a short walk from Shin‑Okubo station, surrounded by convenience stores and restaurants. There’s plenty of space for luggage, the futons are comfortable and the air‑con works. English‑speaking staff made us feel welcome. The bathroom had a strange smell after a shower, and the fridge in our room was leaking near the charging cables, but it wasn’t a major issue.

The staff, especially Mr Lee and his son, were absolutely adorable, the location was spot on, and the place was incredibly clean with a small smoking garden. Nothing to complain about.

The hotel sits in Shinjuku, conveniently close to a metro station; even though it isn’t right next to the main Shinjuku station, a few stops away gets you there easily. The building feels welcoming, and the room was spacious and spotless—opening our three checked‑in suitcases was surprisingly easy, a rarity in Japan. We really liked the futons and tatami flooring, which added a distinctly Japanese vibe. The only downside was the bathroom, which was quite small and the tub tended to flood the floor during showers, making it a bit uncomfortable. We were surprised that over our three days, no one asked if we wanted fresh towels and the trash bins never got emptied, staying full until the end of our stay. Also, the room window couldn’t be opened. Luckily the air conditioning worked perfectly, keeping the room comfortable.
