“Excellent two night stay with friends on motorbikes”
The location is superb with stunning views of the Fells. The staff welcomed us warmly. The breakfast was hearty. It’s a no-frills inn and that’s what I liked. No complaints.

The spot and scenery are gorgeous. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was cleaned daily. A bus stop is just a few steps away in either direction.

They let me check in early, which I hadn't realized an inn might close for lunch. The walls are a bit thin and the guy in the next room was an Olympic talker on his phone.

Beautiful area in the Lake District. We were hiking the coast to coast and a bit off the route. But still okay. Great dinner
