A Great Hotel for Solo Travellers in Tirana! I highly recommend Centrum Hotel Tirana, especially for women travelling alone. The hotel was clean, the staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location was excellent — close to the main attractions, making it easy to explore the city on foot. During my stay in Tirana, there was a protest taking place, which initially made me a little concerned, especially as I was travelling alone. Despite the situation, I felt safe. I used common sense, avoided large crowds and kept my distance from the demonstrations, which allowed me to continue exploring the city without any problems. I was pleasantly surprised by the behaviour of both the police and the protesters. They were polite towards tourists, and I did not experience any unpleasant situations. I felt that, by taking basic precautions and staying away from large gatherings, it was possible to move around the city calmly while respecting the protest. I would also like to mention the Albanian people, who I found to be incredibly kind, welcoming and helpful. I often felt that they genuinely cared about making tourists feel welcome and safe. Their friendliness, hospitality and willingness to help made me feel comfortable, even when travelling solo. It is these small gestures and the positive attitude of the local people that can make a stay in a new destination truly special. As a woman travelling alone, feeling safe is extremely important to me, so these experiences played a big part in making my trip so positive. I would definitely recommend Centrum Hotel Tirana to solo travellers looking for a clean and comfortable place to stay, with friendly staff and an excellent location. Both the hotel and the kindness of the local people made my stay in Tirana a wonderful experience. I would happily stay here again!

I only stayed one night, but the owner was very helpful and kind. The room was clean and smelled nice. I would have liked a kettle in the room for tea or chamomile in the evening. The location and value for money were great, and I highly recommend it.
