The place is gorgeous, surrounded by nature, and the owners are very friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and welcoming.

We were met with a very warm welcome! The rooms were spotless and the breakfast was tasty. It would have been nice to have water available; you could buy drinks from the fridge, but unfortunately there was no water.

The room was infested with bed bugs. The owner tried to blame a previous guest who stayed at the end of July, but that guest was in a different room and we found many live bugs in various stages of growth. I even saw a bed bug crawl into a socket, which shows how severe the infestation was. I have photos and videos. I woke up at 11 to find live bugs in the bed. I called and was advised to move to another room, but I felt the whole property was infested given how many bugs we saw and found. We stayed awake all night, sitting on the floor and in the bathroom to avoid the beds. My children suffered significant bites. I had to tell my next accommodation what happened, and they wouldn't let us bring our belongings into the house, so I had to buy new clothes for my kids. I paid to have my car professionally treated to prevent spreading the infestation to the other accommodation we were staying in and to our house in England. The owner promised a full refund. I suspect she knows the property is infested because of what we saw. It was an absolutely horrific experience. Updated – the owner is not an honest businesswoman. She promised to refund our stay but has now gone back on it. I have provided timed and dated evidence of the infestation and she is still lying and refusing responsibility. I have notified the tourist board and the mayor to protect others from what we experienced.
