Rackesmillen was the perfect midway stop on a long trip. The room was very small but still perfectly adequate and very comfortable. The location was lovely, quiet, and peaceful. The staff were really friendly, very helpful, and the food was good too!!

In a lovely quiet village, the hotel was clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming. I went for breakfast at about 8:10 and it was ready and waiting for me. The breakfast was nice. I would happily stay here again if I’m in the area.

Delicious dinner. Very friendly staff. Spacious bathroom, good bed. The room had a view of a blank wall and no good chairs to sit there.

The breakfast surprised me in a good way, the location was gorgeous, everything was clean and easy to locate, though a few staff members didn’t seem particularly happy.

The triple room felt huge for a single guest and featured a bathroom with a walk‑in shower; breakfast was fine and dinner offered a long menu, plus we could park on the hotel’s own grounds, and I had no complaints.
