The location and cleanliness were fine and the bar was very cute, but the water in the bathroom was cold in the morning, which they said was a malfunction—unacceptable—and the in‑room breakfast was terrible.

The hotel was very old and smelled bad, and the staff were not helpful.

The location was great, the room and bathroom were comfortable, the wardrobe was spacious, the evening service was friendly, the concierge Dan was pleasant, and the balcony offered a nice view. The lift to the room (from the restaurant side) felt like a staff lift and had a bad smell because it ran next to the kitchen, and the breakfast selection was poor for a five‑star hotel.

Room size was fine. 1) access via restaurant's kitchen 2) leaking shower cubicle 3) housekeeping cleanliness was a concern 4) replenishment of snacks and cutlery in the mini bar was a constant issue 5) no key cards for room; physical lock and key and housekeeping would just randomly enter
