The setting is stunning; you reach it via a country lane, and once the gate opens, the place feels serene with birds, distant sheep, a large pond, and a well‑maintained woodland. Two houses exist: a smaller one for 4–5 people and a larger one, separated by a fence. The small house has a raised kiddie pool, while the larger boasts a big pool, a jacuzzi, lounge chairs, and a surrounding meadow—great for kids or pets. Outside the premises, easy hikes are available. A 5‑minute walk gets you to Avía village and 10 minutes to Berga, where you can shop; the car allows you to bring groceries home. The outdoor porch has a barbecue and a big table, plus mosquito nets and automatic blinds for quiet sleep—ideal for a sleep cure. The owner stayed in touch via WhatsApp throughout the stay and was meticulous with the kitchen supplies (a set of lenses, a fuet, toilet paper, dish soap, shower gel, plus a washer, dryer, toaster, and a Longui capsule coffee machine). It’s an hour and a half from Barcelona; for me, with a snoring partner, a baby, and a pet, it was a great experience and I slept soundly. Everything was satisfactory; nothing disappointed me, and all necessary comforts were present.
