The welcome was warm and the location was good, with very good sound insulation, but the bar closed early at 21.30, so there was little life in the hotel.

The proximity to Château d’Azay and Château d’Ussé was fantastic. Nothing else to add.

I loved the location and the rooms felt authentically furnished with comfy beds; the breakfast was very good and the staff were friendly and attentive. The hotel was fully booked, and a few guests talked so loudly at breakfast that everyone had to listen, whether they wanted to or not.
