The dinner was tasty and the view from the room was wonderful, but I wished there was an open‑air bath.

The meals were delicious and the sand steam bath plus the large public bath were great, yet I couldn't tell if it was from the air conditioning, but a musty smell in the room bothered me.

The room had an authentic charm and was very comfortable and spacious for three futons. It's a 30‑minute walk to see the island that can be reached at low tide, where we discovered hot black sand. Even though there is a dedicated space for men and women, the staff were attentive and put us next to each other for a relaxing moment. The building suffers from its exposure to the sea, and the common areas could use renovation, but that didn't bother us from enjoying our stay.
