The cottage felt both cozy and roomy, with plenty of outdoor space for kids to play and adults to grill, and parking for two or three cars right beside it. Nature is right at the doorstep and Dresden is only about 60 km away, plus the nearby zoo is worth a visit, making it a solid base for exploring Bohemian Switzerland. The only quirks were a lack of insect netting in the kitchen windows and a rather steep staircase leading up to the loft.

What a lovely, quiet spot—set on a beautiful meadow and fully equipped, even with charcoal for the grill. Just keep in mind the attic sleeping area is one big room, so it works best for a group of friends or a single family.
