The view was amazing, and the shower water pressure was high and comfortable. I would have liked a bit more variety at breakfast.

The bathroom sink got clogged, but the staff came right away to fix it, which was a great response. It was the end of the dry season, so it was pleasantly warm, and relaxing by the poolside with a refreshing breeze made for perfect weather. I was in the corner room at the lake‑view entrance, but even after 9 pm the voices of other guests and the staff were still noisy.

The staff were fantastic—helpful and considerate. The location is right on Lake Malawi, the food was delicious, and the hot water pressure was good. They kindly arranged transport back to Lilongwe. The small dorm can be a bit noisy in the early morning because it’s close to the road, and more strategically placed power points in the dorm would be helpful.

The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and the food tasted good; the lake view was also great. However, insects were everywhere in the room and on the beach, the room itself was cramped and of poor quality, and the electricity went out most of the day with no backup.
