The house feels like an authentic Japanese home, roomy and set in the countryside on the outskirts of Osaka, and the host is very friendly. The cleaning (vacuuming, common area upkeep) and tidying up would add more charm to the stay.

“It was very nice,quiet,away from stress😂”

I love the scent of wood 🙂 From the balcony you can see plenty of trees (with cicadas, I guess) that please my eyes and ears. It reminds me of home. The house is easy to reach and close to Mt. Kongo if you want to hike. It has the basic utilities and appliances you need. The cafe is just a 2‑3 minute walk. You can also try the river + sauna, though I haven’t yet. The host was very nice 🙂.

“素敵な古民家でリラックスできた。”

The kitchen had all the essentials like a fridge, and there was bottled water and a pitcher that had been brought for us, which we used for cooking; the morning coffee tasted really good. The owner was very approachable and kind. The parking was unpaved, making it a bit hard to stop.

I can’t believe it’s Osaka—there’s so much nature, the tent sauna is great, the location is superb, and the river is beautiful! There’s a cafe, the building has a nice vibe, and it feels like stepping into a grandma’s house, very cozy.

The staff were kind, so I felt safe. The vibe of the place is homey and made me feel nostalgic. The toilet is outside, which is a little scary.
