Typical American motel, the room was comfortable and the right size, but the road noise was annoying.

The bedside lamp and wall lights were Smart Lights, meaning no physical switch; they had to be turned on with a remote. All the remotes were dead, and the place couldn’t or wouldn’t provide fresh batteries on short notice. It was a real let‑down and made the stay a touch uncomfortable.

The spot is spot‑on, and the kitchen comes fully equipped for quick meals. The check‑in instructions arrived a tad late, and I didn’t get them because the signal is spotty in the area, so the process was a bit clunky with no one on hand. A call five minutes later sorted everything out.
