Tina and Christoph are two fantastic people and truly exceptional hosts. Tina starts the mornings with an amazing breakfast, while Christoph shares his vast knowledge of Portugal and the Algarve, supplementing Tina’s tips with practical advice. All of this unfolds in a cozy villa that contains four large rooms, a lovely terrace with a pool and seating, plus a kitchen and living area for guests. Our three days there were the highlight of our Algarve tour with a friend’s couple, though the sterile luxury of our other four‑star hotels is absent here. In Villa dos Ventos, it’s not uncommon for chickens to wander onto the breakfast table, a price for the extraordinary experience in such a beautiful natural setting. The only downside was that our stay felt too short.
