“Suited all our needs and would be happy to use it again”
Everything was good. The bathroom was a bit on the small side.
The design was spacious and the restaurants were good. The air conditioning was a problem.
“Welcoming staff and comfortable surroundings meant our stay was enjoyed by all of us”
Check‑in went smoothly, and the staff were courteous and very helpful even though we arrived early and wanted to park before heading into the city. They helped us check the car in and arranged a taxi. The room was a good size for four, very clean, and just right for an overnight stay. The beds were extremely comfortable, the bed linen lovely, and the pillows very soft. The bathroom, shower, and toiletries were all pleasant, and the fluffy towels were nice. Our room faced inward across the bar area, so we couldn’t see outside, but that didn’t matter for a one‑night stay. The blackout curtains were good and there were no irritating lights on, so we all slept well. We didn’t hear any noise from other guests or the corridor, and the hotel was busy, so the soundproofing earned top marks. We arrived late that night and couldn’t use the bar in the evening. We didn’t have breakfast at the hotel either, but the bar area looked very welcoming. The only slight issue was that we had booked for four people but there were only two cups and glasses in the room; we managed until the next morning when room service quickly brought more.
