“Piękne widoki to nie wszystko”
The biggest perk of the hotel is the private beach with a beautiful view. The staff was pleasant. The hotel has its own restaurant, and the staff helps order taxis or rent scooters. The rooms are basically only for sleeping—small and impractical. The windows are permanently open (with a mosquito net), so you hear every scooter arrival or people from neighboring houses. There is no fridge, hair dryer, or a fan that works well at these temperatures. Only two outlets are available, one of which is taken by the fan and is high up, making it hard to charge a phone. The bathroom lacks hot water (the shower isn’t very pleasant, especially in the morning) and the lighting is so weak that you literally can’t see anything (it could just as well be dark). During my four‑day stay the room was never cleaned, towels weren’t changed, and toilet paper wasn’t replenished. Dogs run around the beach and the hotel, barking and chasing people; we had to run away from them a few times. The hotel is in a remote area—it could be a car for someone seeking peace, but without a scooter it’s hard because the nearest shop is about 20 minutes on foot. From the hotel to the main road is about 150 m up a fairly steep hill. The hotel offers scooter rentals, but it turns out it’s an external company that delivers scooters. Unfortunately, a bad situation happened— we ordered a Honda Click scooter, waited almost 30 minutes instead of 10, and after signing the contract and paying the scooter and deposit, the man showed us a scooter that turned out to be completely different from what we ordered (Yamaha). When asked why we were getting a different scooter, he had complaints and tried to convince us it was the same scooter, but we were left with it and had to take that scooter.
