Grand Hotel Kazybek Bi

The service was good and efficient, the location convenient with several bus stops nearby, and I took a city bus to the airport from a stop close by; the breakfast (see below) and the restaurant for dinner were also good, and after staying there twice I was very satisfied and highly recommend it. The first day the breakfast fell short: no bread around 08:30 and some hot items were tepid or cold, but on the second day – and on every subsequent day of my first stay – everything returned to standard.

The hotel is good and convenient, everything needed is available and of good quality, but I didn’t like the on‑site restaurant; the service was not very good, the food wasn’t very tasty, it wasn’t worth the money, and the breakfast was just normal.

The hotel was clean, the water‑cycle room had a large window, the staff were friendly, the restaurant was good but the menu was limited, yet the rooms were small, the location was close to the street of Arbat but still inside the building.

Everything was excellent, the breakfasts were tasty, but I think the prices are high, although in Almaty such prices are common.
