The panorama from the breakfast room is magnificent, overlooking the river and mountains. The salons have warm furnishings. There was no restaurant.

This lodge works well if you need a place to rest on a road trip; the rooms are very basic and feel dated, but the public areas and dining room are lovely, comfortable, and give beautiful views of the water, so it’s fine for a short one‑night stop along your route.
