The décor was incredibly luxurious, almost too much for us. The tatami room, bedroom, verandah, and garden all exuded a strong Showa vibe that I thoroughly enjoyed. The number of rooms was excessive for two people—not a flaw, just too much, which was a bit inconvenient.

The staff were genuinely wonderful. While meals weren’t included, they kindly recommended nearby spots and explained them in detail. The blend of renovated and original parts worked well together, making the stay comfortable. No issues.
