Roshinton is a fantastic host who does everything he can to make you comfortable. The garden is spectacular and the accommodation is in a very, very quiet spot. The rooms are very simple, maybe too simple! Breakfast was scant at first but then improved each day.

Host Roshinton is the person who wants to help guests as best as possible, offering the best experiences on his land. Always available and concerned about pleasing guests, personally seeking the best services. My experiences: local temple trips not included in tours, where you mingle with rural populations and share local customs; snorkeling & diving—service personalization and accompaniment by locals—speaking the local language helps a lot; conversations over a beer and local snacks.

We arrived to find a scene that didn’t match the website at all; the road was long, bumpy and never mentioned in the listing. The rooms were filthy and smelly, with no sheets or toilet paper when we got in. One bathroom held three frogs and another had a cockroach, and the tap barely dripped water. The host was unhelpful, finally bringing us sheets after a long wait, and when we complained he said we couldn’t cancel because it was the weekend. When we tried to film the problems, he stopped us, threatening to call the police, and he said he could provide the video if needed.
