The drive to the cottage is a steep gravel road, difficult to tackle in a car, so a 4×4 is recommended. From the parking lot you have to climb a steep staircase to reach the cottage, which is tough with suitcases. The view from the cottage overlooks the mountains, but construction of a hotel or complex right next to the cottage spoils it. The cottage itself is large, has four bedrooms, a big lounge, and a kitchen. All cooking essentials are available, which is crucial since cafés and restaurants are far away and down the hill. It’s not far from Bukovel centre, but you need a car to get there, although you can walk to the centre and lifts. The wooden cottage creaks a lot, and the house has steep stairs that are hard to go up and down and they squeak loudly.
