We loved staying at the ranch lodge – the rooms were clean, smelled great and felt super cozy, and the whole area was calm and quiet. Marcelo was a friendly host who even tipped us off to the best cheese, and the spot is close to everything you might need. The stove and mini‑fridge handled our semi‑ready meals fine (the fridge actually stays cold), and there were plates, cups and forks for four, though we had to bring our own spoons and a wooden cooking spoon.

The coffee they served was fresh and absolutely delicious, and Mr. Marcelo was very kind and attentive. We only had a day because of other commitments, but the experience made it worthwhile. Definitely worth a stop if you’re in the area.
