The room was spacious, very clean, and the bathroom was modern; the housekeeper was lovely and did an excellent job. The kitchen, where breakfast is served, is where you enter the property and was handy for making hot drinks. We parked the car on the drive and it was secure behind locked gates. We used Uber to travel into the centre of Lyon for days out. The accommodation was described as having air conditioning, but the room my husband and I stayed in was not air‑conditioned and was too hot. When this discrepancy was raised with the owner, he said that only the two upstairs rooms were air‑conditioned and that our ground floor room was not, and that he couldn't control how he described his accommodation. We pointed out that we had paid for a room that was described as having air conditioning, but there was no offer of a discount. Our “garden view” was a gravel drive. The garden was in a very poor condition and certainly not one you could enjoy; it bore no relation to the website photos. Although building work was being undertaken at the premises, this had no impact on the state of the garden.

The location is a bit off‑the‑beaten‑path in a residential area, so it’s quiet; it’s enough for a single night on the way through. The place is only a small room with a shared kitchen.

Der Empfang war herzlich und unkompliziert. Die Unterkunft ist mit einem Tor abgesichert, das Auto und die Fahrräder waren dort gut aufgehoben. Leider ist beim Frühstück das Platzangebot etwas eng (ein Tischm mit 5 Stühlen) wenn mehrere Gäste die 3 Zimmer nutzen, das fand ich etwas störend so nah mit den anderen Gästen zu frühstücken
