The reception staff were very friendly and helpful, and the location right by town offered plenty of walking and dining options; however, the balcony was inaccessible during our stay, and although the hotel refunded $50, it was a real shame because we would have liked to use it even in the chill. The rest of the facilities were fine and the staff remained very nice.

The location was great—just a few blocks from town yet still a short walk from Foodworks, and far enough from the main street to avoid crowds. The staff were approachable and friendly, and there were no drawbacks to mention.

The one‑bedroom apartment was a decent size and the spot was convenient, but the place felt old and in need of some upkeep. There were chips in the bathroom vanity and bathtub, and the shower over the bath was dated. The kitchen lacked basic utensils and cooking items—having a full kitchen was pointless because we couldn’t really use it, especially since there were no oven trays except the grill tray, and the knife was so bad it wouldn’t cut a tomato.
