Citi Hotel Aberdeen City Centre

I walked out right away because the place was absolutely filthy—faeces on the hallway carpet, a stained mattress, and dirty sheets. There was nothing worth liking, and the elevator being out of service was the only thing I could note. The whole property was hideous and should be demolished.

Nothing stayed. I’ve asked for a refund and am still waiting to receive it; the place had blood splatters, holes in the walls, the carpet was disgusting, and the mattress was disgusting.

The hotel was close to the bus and train station, but room 103 was directly across from a nightclub, so I couldn't sleep. The bath plug was broken and water kept draining, there were random paint marks and a dirty floor, and the room was freezing with the windows closed and the heater not working. I wish I’d stayed somewhere better for the value.

“Absolutely horrible”

The only thing I liked was the location, but the hotel was filthy. The lift didn’t work, the stairs were dirty, the room had holes in the walls and damp ceilings, the bathroom door wouldn’t shut, the bath was filthy, and the bed was uncomfortable—felt the springs through the sheet and a board under the mattress. The sockets didn’t work in the morning, and I needed to charge my CGM app; finally someone fixed it. I need a refund; it spoiled a good day out.

I liked that it was in the city centre, but the room was unkempt and untidy and never cleaned during my stay. Toiletries, coffee, tea, sugar, and milk were not supplied; I had to go to the front desk to request them. I travel a lot and have never had this experience.
