The owner is very nice, the room was fine … Location in the forest, away from everything, unique … Food at the restaurant is very good. Unfortunately the room is very noisy… it is rented over us, so you can hear every step and every word.

I loved everything about the place: it was quiet, the pool was clean and spacious, the food was tasty, prices were reasonable, and there were plenty of forest trails along the mountain river to wander.

You need to know why you’re coming to this spot. 1. Nature – mountains, forest, silence, broken only by the river’s murmur, bird song, and wind. 2. Fresh fish that the host raises right here (hence the name Ribarnik). Trout and catfish. 3. A break from city bustle and a stressful work rhythm. 4. Warm, personal treatment from the host and everyone on the base. We asked if breakfast could be provided, and they promised something and we wouldn’t leave hungry. Homemade ayran, the softest banitsa, and a cup of coffee were exactly what we needed. Thanks a lot, Zdravko and crew! I recommend this place. Important: you’ll have to hike about 7 km up and down a so‑called asphalt road in poor condition, but it’s worth it to admire the stunning panorama at the pass. Don’t expect luxury, but for a tourist base it has everything you need: rooms with hot water, air conditioning, fresh linens. It’s the perfect spot to get a good night’s sleep!

Incredible, magical place. Tucked into the mountains, far from everything. Lots of friendly hosts, plenty of fresh, tasty food. Warm and cozy, not luxurious but that’s its charm! I recommend it!
