“Leider ein Reinfall”
A son of the family showed us everything. He made a big effort, was friendly, and did a great job. I hesitated to share my experience because I don’t want to harm anyone, but I decided to warn other travelers. My daughter and I did not stay in this place, even though it was planned. My review is based on a stay of about 15–20 minutes, which was enough for me to decide that I would never stay there overnight. Upon arrival I already noticed the messy yard (not the children’s toys, which is normal). When we were shown the horse stable, I had to swallow. The horses were in dirt. As someone who rides, I know how stables look when horses have just cooled off outside – that was not the case here, just old dirt. The horses were also in their box in their own manure, and there was no bedding. I must say I was already uneasy before the room. The room we were finally shown was not the one advertised. It was in a dark attic with a makeshift entrance, quite small (8–9 m²), and had a double‑bed, a fridge, and a table. The room, like the attic, was very dark, gloomy, and uninviting. There was nothing that even remotely suggested coziness. Everything seemed haphazard, dilapidated, and gave me a strong feeling of claustrophobia and discomfort. My daughter felt the same, so we decided to look elsewhere. I apologize to the host for the abrupt departure.
