The large bed was lovely and comfortable and the paddock was great for our dog, but there was no heated rail in the bathroom to dry towels.

Everything was flawless: the barn was immaculate and elegantly decorated, every need was met, the kitchen stocked, breakfast superb, host welcoming, and the attention to detail with little extras made it the most well-equipped stay we've had—no negatives at all.

We adored every moment, from the roll‑top bath and log burner to the Cumbrian breakfast and the impeccable cleanliness that made the barn feel truly special; the only thing we wish we could say is we’d booked a few more nights.
