The spot is spotless, brand‑new, and a great place to stay because it’s so central with the cathedral just 5 minutes away and many beautiful streets to wander. I found it perfect: even though it’s so close to the sights, it’s very quiet at night, and the bed was exactly comfortable. A 2‑3 minute walk from the location, opposite the tourist info centre, is a courtyard with a café/restaurant and a bookstore selling Italian classics and academic books, it feels like stepping into a study, gorgeous! Near the carousel there’s a fish restaurant (also take‑away) that offers excellent food at great prices. From the train station I walked about 15 minutes. Google Maps guided me without problems. Bonus: for those with mobility issues or heavy luggage, the place is on the ground floor, so no stairs to climb. :) I’d gladly return. Nothing that we disliked. The street numbers can be a bit confusing. Don’t panic; just keep walking past the university entrance on the left (I think Google Maps stops there). One minute further, you’ll see the light‑blue door on the left; that’s the entrance. It’s not obvious at first because there’s a small bend in the road.
