“Great hotel in a spectacular spot overlooking the water.”

I requested an upgrade for a better view, and even though it cost a little extra, it was totally worth it. Nothing else to mention.

The view from the room was impressive, offering a superb look at the inner harbour, and you could walk to the shops and restaurants.

“Greta hotel and fabulous harbour views”

The hotel’s location is ideal for a few days in Victoria, walking to everything is convenient. One night we dined at the restaurant and the scallop dish was the most delicious thing I’ve ever had! Having parking was convenient but expensive. We stayed in a room in the older part of the building, yet the harbour views were phenomenal. The parking fee is high, and the older section needs a bit of updating—maybe those rooms should be cheaper, especially since we didn’t see the newer ones.

“Disappointing!”

The hotel was clean and comfy, but the photos gave a false impression of the main area; it looked very dated compared to what we saw, which was a letdown for our honeymoon luxury expectation. We received one complimentary dessert as a congratulations, which was a nice gesture but still disappointing overall. The server at the Aura restaurant seemed uninterested and slow until we tipped him, and the food was overcooked. The place is nice, but after thinking it over I would have preferred to book somewhere else for half the price.

“Je reviendrai avec plaisir”

Everything was perfect: a lovely view of Victoria’s harbor, a nice room, very welcoming staff, and a great location. Nothing to add.
