The Moran CITYCENTRE, a AAA Four Diamond boutique hotel, blends modern luxury with urban sophistication in Houston's vibrant CITYCENTRE district. Recently renovated, it offers 244 rooms and suites with floor-to-ceiling windows, plush linens, and curated bar carts. Amenities include an outdoor pool, fitness center, and complimentary parking and car service. Nearby upscale shopping, dining, and entertainment options make it an ideal location.

The location was good.

The place was clean and nice, and I liked the surrounding area. However, the room wasn’t ready when we checked in; we had booked it more than a month ahead and needed to be at an event by 6 pm. We didn’t get a room until after 5 pm, so we were extremely late to the event and had to rush to shower, dress, and do our hair and makeup. I’m very disappointed.

Great spot for business trips in the Energy Corridor, and being close to CityCentre makes it easy to grab dinner or pick up essentials. The hotel is clean and the amenities are solid overall. The gym feels underwhelming and could use a boost. Value for money suffers because of many extra fees—including a stay fee and package handling charges. Breakfast was also underwhelming for $24.
