The front‑desk staff were friendly, but the hotel itself was in a bad state—my heater didn’t work, I had to walk down to reception because the phone wouldn’t answer, and someone arrived 10 minutes later saying it would be fixed in 15 minutes and asked for extra blankets; another 10 minutes later he returned with only one blanket, leaving me cold all night. The minibar was warm and looked broken, as did the lamp next to the bed, and I was woken by a jackhammer from a machine at 7.30.

The first room had a moldy smell, so I asked to be moved, but the space was still not clean or comfortable.

The location and rooms are nice, and the staff are friendly, yet road work in front of the hotel made it very treacherous to leave and enter.

Nothing, people rate this place highly on its location. I would in fact suggest that everything else about this hotel removes any benefit of a good location. It is a dump!. The cockroaches in the room, the cigarette smell in the carpets, the mold in the bathroom, rooms that haven't been renovated or looked at since the 90s. I would not suggest anyone stays here
