The location is great, within walking distance of Hadrian’s Wall, with a pub/inn just around the corner. The atmosphere feels like a mountain hut. Breakfast was served in an (uncomfortable) communal room, guests had to make their own coffee, and everyone sat at a long table. The breakfast buffet was also disappointing.

The location is excellent for my interests; I’m doing the Hadrian’s Wall and it’s very close to the planned finish point. The room was very good, better than many higher‑category hotels. Everything was very clean and orderly. The breakfast was very good in both quality and quantity, and the lady who attended me was excellent and helped me a lot by speaking fluent Spanish. Charming. Nothing negative, I can’t think of anything.

This was absolutely the best place we stayed on the trail. The staff were charming, the rooms incredibly comfortable, the breakfast delicious, and it had everything you want from an overnight day.

Great location to Hadrian’s Wall and hikes. There is a nice pub right across the street. Parking was easy. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. A wonderful place to stay the night.
