Karang Aji Beach Villa

The villa’s style is very unique and playful, the view is stunning, and the ambience is very calm. The staff were helpful and friendly even before we booked the room, and they offered us a transfer to the bus station. The owner was always available via WhatsApp and tried to help us with all our questions. We really enjoyed our stay and would come back any time :) Just to know beforehand: if you don’t have a motorcycle or car, like us, it isn’t easy to get around. The closest restaurant is the one in the Ocean Beach Resort, which is very good, but closes pretty soon in the evening.

I really appreciated the concept of the place—acting as both a viewpoint and a full‑blown countryside hotel—and even though it’s in nature, everything was well equipped.

This is the coolest spot we’ve stayed at during our two‑month trip through Indonesia! The view is insane and the room is comfy. The staff are amazing, especially Jo the manager, who’s a legend!
