I loved the room with its private onsen, but the kitchen was not worth the money.
“Welcoming small ryokan with excellent meals and hospitality”
This charming onsen ryokan had very welcoming and friendly staff. We appreciated the shuttle to and from Kanazawa Station, the free drinks and ice cream, the huge rooms with private onsens, and the extraordinary dinner and breakfast. The chef even came out to say hello during dessert, which was lovely. The town features an Edo Mura at one end and a pond at the other, making for pleasant walks. We also liked the public foot bath and the Takehisa Yumeji Museum right next door.

The room was huge with a private spa. They gave us pajamas and socks, and the bathroom was SUPER stocked with creams, makeup remover, phone, shampoo, conditioner, a heater to warm the room, and more. The staff were truly welcoming, kind, and VERY helpful!

Everything was superb—the room’s onsen was comfortable, and you could enjoy soft drinks in the common area just like at home. The dinner and breakfast were excellent, and the staff were friendly and helpful.

The property is stunning, and the room really transports you back in time! Nothing to complain about, everything is beautiful.
