The hostel is quiet and beautiful, a lovely old house with a comfortable bed. Everything else was fine.

The room was pretty. The walls were paper‑backed, and you could hear everything from the neighbouring room.

The room was small, clean, and had its own bathroom in the city centre; the bed was comfortable and it’s a good value. However, the room got very hot because there was no ventilation, mosquitoes were present, and the owner’s replies were slow (I had to wait while I was out).

We ran into an issue: they told us they couldn't provide a private‑bathroom room, so we had to take a shared‑bathroom one. In the end it wasn’t a huge problem, only three rooms shared a bathroom. There was no air conditioning or fan in the rooms, so it got very hot; we were lucky to bring a household fan and managed to sleep at night.
