“Lots of potential, but too many practical problems at the moment.”
The small bungalows are very basic, but that is to be expected for the price. One of the owners wasn’t there during my stay, but his wife was, and she was extremely kind and helpful. The place itself has a lot of potential and is surrounded by nature. Unfortunately, the negative aspects dominated my stay. Getting there was already quite an adventure. I arrived after dark and the WiFi had been down all day. The owner had even driven about 10 minutes away to send me a message, but once I arrived in the area I obviously had no WiFi either. There is no clear sign from the road indicating where the accommodation actually is, so I spent quite some time driving back and forth in the dark. Eventually, by chance, I met another guest who showed me the way. That guest left the following day, after which I was the only guest on the property. The owner made (paid) breakfast in the morning, but shops and restaurants are some distance away, so I would definitely not recommend staying here without your own transport. On my third day the electricity went out, which made the bungalow unbearably hot as the fan obviously stopped working as well. I eventually decided to leave two days earlier than planned. I was promised compensation for one of those nights, but despite a lot of messages back and forth, a month later I still haven’t received it. There is certainly potential here, but quite a few practical issues still need to be addressed. Unfortunately, in its current state I cannot really recommend it
