The moments spent with Amman Rum Camp were fantastic; the camp’s location and services were excellent, and we enjoyed an amazing Jeep tour and a camel tour at sunset—highly recommend booking with them.

Kayed and his brother were wonderful from the moment they welcomed us to the time we said goodbye. The property is in the desert, making the experience unique. Though the accommodation is simple, it is still satisfying. Food deserves praise: everything was very good. We also spent an evening around the campfire with other guests, which made the stay even more enjoyable. A couple of improvement points: a shower towel and a repellent for the room would be useful, and the Wi‑Fi works only in the dining room, not in the room—this is a real detail.
The location was perfect for watching sunrise and sunset. Ammar is a friendly person. The housekeeping left something to be desired and the breakfasts were very average.

The camp owner Ammar and his brother went above and beyond to smooth our stay and cater to every need. I especially thank the staff for being extremely friendly, even more so than some of my friends, haha. Special thanks to Khalil for looking after us, and to Mahmoud for joining us on activities. I love you all, my friends! We met a family from New Jersey celebrating their son’s 27th birthday; they baked a cake for him and shared it with us—who still does that? It was wonderful to chat around the campfire, sip traditional tea, and watch stars at sunset. They offered several activities, including a hot air balloon ride to see sunrise with a Jordanian pilot, while other pilots came from abroad. Listening to him explain balloon flight was fun. I compared several camps and chose this one for the variety of activities and especially for the view from the windows of the bubble tent. I was amazed the first morning when I saw the endless desert and mountain landscape, eyes lost in sand like in the movie “Dunes.” The tents are very comfortable, meet Western quality standards, have air conditioning and a good mattress—crucial after a full day in 38‑degree heat. I loved sitting on the balcony in front of the tent, chatting with friends, and enjoying the view. Everything was perfect.
