“Entspannung pur”

The accommodation is quiet and away from mass tourism, yet still close to the beach and attractions like Pula. The hosts were incredibly warm and took great care of us—our kids would have stayed right there 😃. The apartment is beautiful and well equipped, especially the kitchen, which is a bit different from what we’re used to. The pool is private and very large. Some reviews mentioned small animals in the house; that’s to be expected in an old farmhouse in nature, and it didn’t bother us. All windows have mosquito nets, so no biting insects get in, which is the most important thing to me. We didn’t notice any noise at night; we heard the volleyball court sometimes, but it wasn’t loud enough to disturb sleep (we were traveling with a baby and a 3‑year‑old). We’ll definitely come back. We had a wonderful week.

The place is cozy and sometimes clean, a bit further from the beach but perfect for adventure seekers like us—everything is about 15‑20 minutes away. In Barban there’s a beautiful pizzeria and local pastries at the Prstenac restaurant. The hosts are friendly and always ready to help. There’s a shop three minutes on foot that’s open until 14 on weekdays and until 12 on weekends. It’s worth a trip to the shop in pajamas :) The locals are kind and everything feels homely. Because the house is made of stone, some insects can get in at night, but nothing scary—just a few insects that might bother those who fear them. I definitely met my expectations.

We spent two lovely weeks at the holiday home with a very friendly and helpful family. If you prefer rustic accommodation, this is a great fit. The bathroom, kitchen, cabinets, etc. were all very clean and well equipped. Towels were nice and plentiful. The sofa bed had an extra topper, making it very comfortable, and the bed and pillows were also comfy. The pool was large, cleaned daily, and covered when needed to keep the heat. A small supermarket is just three steps away with everything you need. Overall, great value for money. The only negatives were that the oven and microwave weren’t clean, and the front door wasn’t fully sealed, letting in small animals. Next to us is a volleyball court that plays until almost midnight; the owner can’t do anything about that, but if you’re trying to sleep around 22:00 (we were with a child) it was very loud.

The property is fully fenced for dogs, has a parking spot on the premises, the beach is 3.5 km away, a small grocery shop is 100 m away, and the host keeps dropping thoughtful gestures.

“Niezwykłe miejsce”

We spent a week in quiet, peaceful surroundings with a fragrant garden and a well‑maintained pool that was cleaned daily; the house had everything we could possibly need and felt like an artistic sanctuary. Meeting the owner was a pleasure; he helped with everything, even washing our car. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking to relax away from crowds. Anna and Franciszek. Nothing was wrong with us.
