I was told this place was a solid pick and it lived up to the hype; it's just off Ueda station, so finding it was a breeze. The breakfast spread was tasty with plenty of options, the beds were comfy, and the private bath felt nice. The extra amenities were also pretty good. The only downside was that breakfast stops at 9, so if you're a late riser you might want to set an alarm.

The rooms used to be old, but after a recent makeover they’re fantastic! Next to the elevator they’ve even stocked makeup water, lotion, and plenty of supplies, which is very thoughtful, and the mountain view from the window is gorgeous. No negatives.
