“Staff was pleasant, rooms deteriorated from last year. This would be our last visit to the Inn”

We’re back for the third annual Meiringspoort trip, and the staff were friendly and hospitable, but the plumbing in room 401 was awful—taps wouldn’t shut off, the showerhead sprayed everywhere, and the mixer broke halfway through. The bedding was clean yet worn, and there was no bath mat, so the floor stayed wet from the shower. It felt like a back‑room under maintenance.

The hotel’s location was perfect for our needs; as a group we needed a comfortable spot before the Meiringspoort run. The lift didn’t work, and we were stuck on the fourth floor.

Staff were friendly, free coffee to take with us when we left at 330am Plenty of parking. Lift was out of order Rooms definitely need upgrading especially bathrooms There was no fridge in the room

“The company should not be allowed in the hospitality business. They need customer service training.”

The staff showed no sense of customer service and seemed only concerned with the money paid to the company; they didn’t respond to a request for a date change. If you’re thinking of booking, look elsewhere. The staff were arrogant and rude, and they failed to accept a simple date change.
