The hotel sits right between the narrow and wide Luzin, so it’s ideally located; the breakfast is simply wonderful, though I can’t judge the sweet options since we mainly eat sausage, cheese, and eggs, but there’s plenty of them; the rooms are two levels, meaning the beds are upstairs and you need a staircase to reach them, which was just manageable for us (66 and 71 years old) but not ideal, especially if you have some physical issues.

I liked the location and the food, and the staff were friendly, but the rooms were quite plain, a bit dark, and on the ground floor.

The spot by the lake was great and you could see the water if you booked a lakeside room, and the sauna was fantastic with a direct entrance into the lake for morning swims, but the Wi‑Fi often failed and overall, especially the restaurant, was a bit pricey.

Everything was simple, the pre‑arrival communication worked well, the people on site were incredibly kind, the vibe was lovely, and it made for a wonderful holiday, though it might help to offer hot drinks like tea on Tuesdays and Wednesdays when the hotel is closed.

Breakfast was very good, but we were placed in the side building, which was not ideal for sauna use.
