At Signora Enza’s place, guests feel like friends, welcomed and even more warmly received. She is the heart of the house, and her hospitality makes the small shortcomings mentioned in comments disappear. Breakfast always featured homemade cakes, jams, sweets, and savory items, many prepared with ingredients from her own garden.

Unexpected! A tiny, atypical and charming corner in the center of the village of Sferracavallo, remarkably quiet. The spot is ideal for exploring the area on foot or by public transport. Enza, the owner, is lovely and gave us a wonderful welcome. Special mention for the homemade breakfast, which was delicious! Many cats have taken refuge in the patio, so be cautious if you’re allergic or dislike these little creatures, which can be smelly.

Enza is a very dedicated older lady who speaks fairly good English and can give good tips. The breakfast was very generous and tasty. The location is perfect for trips to Palermo; the train station is just around the corner. There is a private parking spot, but it’s not easy to find. The cleanliness was very mediocre, especially with stray cats everywhere, and the smell bothered me a lot.
