The location was great, right on the way up to the Alhambra, and the staff were very friendly. My room didn’t face the street or even the inner courtyard, so I felt a bit boxed in.

Nothing good. As soon as we arrived, we started checking towels, sheets, and pillows, and found that out of the three beds in the room, two had stained sheets, the pillows were also stained, and the blankets had cigarette burns. Every towel they left was stained. We called booking, and they called the hotel; the front‑desk lady began handing us towels to pick the clean ones, but in the end she had none left because ALL were stained. We left the apartment, and eventually we reached an agreement (because someone external to the trip had to step in, since neither the hotel nor booking offered a solution) that they would refund us the amount we paid minus the 15% that booking keeps (which we didn’t understand because booking had previously told us they couldn’t force the hotel to refund us since the payment had been made directly to the hotel). When we returned to collect our bags, the sheets were still dirty even though they supposedly had been changed. The experience at this guesthouse was disastrous; I would not recommend booking it.

The shower had very low pressure, a long wait for hot water, and then it became scalding. No toiletries were provided. The sheets were torn. The price was too high for the minimal service offered.
