The only shower was a bathtub, and the third floor was hard to find. The service and price were disappointing, and the shower was a problem.

The location and the bed. This was a complete bait and switch. The photos we were shown in booking process was not representative of the room we had. The list of amenities was missing 50% of what was listed. It looked like the place had been robbed. All the niceties were missing; art, chairs, lamps, dining table and chairs, mini fridge, working safes etc. It was dirty and not cleaned properly upon arrival, unmade beds, hair on floor, garbage and dirty dishes left, balconies hadnt been cleaned in years, chipped paint and mold in bathrooms. We discussed with staff and they were not willing to do anything meaningful. It says its a B & B BUT it is really 4 rooms, sharing a common space with no table or any household or kitchen amenities. Book something else. Do not stay here. We are disputing charges with and credit card companies. Walk away from this one

The staff were amazing and super helpful, even carrying our bags to the room. They were very nice and went above and beyond. The room was comfortable, and the hotel was easy to navigate. The restaurant below was great for dinner. We weren’t told about the never‑ending stairs, and we also didn’t know our room was 200 m uphill from the hotel.

Probably the best breakfast in all of Italy, and the room had a great design. It could have been cleaner; the housekeeping was inconsistent. Once four people cleaned everything but left the trash can full, another time they only emptied the trash and folded the dirty bath mat neatly. It wasn’t a disaster, but there’s room for improvement. Also, four rooms are in a different building 200 m up the street, right by the Capo‑Market where it can get noisy, and they’re on the second floor with no elevator.
