Cecila and her team welcomed us warmly, and the house dogs were absolutely adorable. The house itself is roomy and has everything you could possibly need in one place. Breakfast is homemade, with Kathy and Cecilia cooking tasty Arepas among other dishes. If you want dinner prepared, you can arrange it for an extra fee and it saves you the hassle of driving back and forth to Salento. The property is in a rural setting, so we had to take a longer route because the road to the house is under repair; the alternate path gives a view of the Quindio river but is only wide enough for one car at a time—just a rural charm, not a deterrent. The house sits on a corner and would benefit from a sign in front with its name for easier spotting.

The nature is breathtaking, and although the drive is a bit tough, it’s worth it. Watching sunrise with the sun over that spot is incredible. The facilities are great and the staff is very attentive and loving, and the bathroom is excellent. Breakfast could use some improvement; it’s not much different from a basic breakfast. They don’t accept cards, and if a foreigner wants to pay a large amount for the stay, it becomes difficult. This should be improved, especially since they have a large influx of foreign visitors.

The staff are very friendly. Waze sends you to another place, so more explanation is needed.

I recommend it. The finca is beautiful, surrounded by nature and little animals, and it’s perfect if you want a disconnecting place or to experience a finca that doesn’t exist in Spain. Sandra’s kindness is appreciated; she’s always ready to help. The breakfast in that peaceful setting is ideal. The access road is somewhat tricky, with many stones and potholes, and it takes about 15‑20 minutes to avoid damaging the car, but the car fits fine. If you want a finca in the middle of nowhere, you have to accept that. I would repeat the experience because it’s unique! We missed a dinner service or something nearby, as it takes 25 minutes to reach a place to buy or eat something.
