“Worn out”
The location was properly situated. The ice machine was broken for the whole stay. It was hard to get hot water in the bathroom, and the pool was closed for 3 of the 5 days.
“DO NOT STAY HERE — NO HOT WATER!”
The tall ceilings, corner unit and the privacy of being alone with my companion. They gladly gave us several cards because we misplaced . We stayed here August 27–September 1, and we were without hot water for 4 out of 5 days. The hotel knew there was a problem with the hot-water heater, but guests were not properly informed. We were told it was being repaired and that it would be resolved, so we continued our stay and even extended it. It never was. We had to take cold showers, and even when the front desk offered another room so we could shower, that room had no hot water either There were also other issues during our stay, including no ice, a closed pool, a closed laundry room, roaches in the bathroom, and other concerns with the condition of the property. The biggest issue was the lack of communication. If I had known before booking or extending my stay that there was no reliable hot water, I would not have stayed here My advice: Call before booking and specifically ask whether the hotel currently has hot water and whether all advertised amenities are operating.
The location was great and the staff were friendly and helpful, but there was no Dolly for luggage, which was a problem for us disabled senior citizens who find carrying luggage difficult, and the lack of a night security guard was a bit worrisome.
“Think B4 you Book!”
The main complaint was the absence of hot water for about four of the five days, coupled with poor front‑desk communication. I was told the hot‑water heater was broken and being repaired, but I wasn’t told the issue would persist or that there was no timeline for fixing it. This was especially annoying because I extended my stay on the promise that the problem would be solved. Other dislikes included the pool and laundry room being closed, no ice (the staff simply said, “We don’t have ice. Sorry,” and we had to drive elsewhere), roaches in the bathroom, and seeing breakfast staff help guests without gloves. I fell seriously ill after breakfast, with severe stomach pain and vomiting; I can’t say the breakfast caused it, but it added to my overall negative experience. I also saw staff smoking while guests were dealing with the hot‑water problem, which made me feel the hotel wasn’t prioritizing guest issues. I felt ripped off and ignored, especially since I repeatedly went back and forth with the front desk for answers about the hot water and other problems. By checkout I was extremely frustrated that I still couldn’t shower properly. My concerns about bedding and linens were heightened by the ongoing lack of hot water, making me question whether normal cleaning and sanitation could be maintained. I’m sharing these details because they accurately describe what I liked and disliked when asked for feedback.
The beds were very comfortable, but the air conditioning didn’t cool well and the bathroom had no hot water.
