Parking was safe, the exterior was tidy and the pool was nice. However, there weren’t enough towels—no bath towels and no hairdryer as promised. The kitchen cupboard was filthy and mold appeared in the shower.

“Was a good stay, would definitely recommend and will probably stay again if I need a place to stay in Upington.”

Close to everything I needed, just a short walk from the mall and campus, and the gated parking was convenient. The freezer was mediocre, so my ice cream melted a bit. Water took a while to heat up, and there weren’t enough kitchen utensils or plates. The bin was too small for larger waste, and ants invaded the microwave and my food, so there’s a minor ant issue.

I arrived exhausted, ready for a shower and sleep, but the bed had no clean sheets. The manager moved me to another room, which also lacked fresh sheets. I had to leave at 21:00 that night to find alternative accommodation and am still waiting for a refund that was supposedly promised. The sheets were not changed—unacceptable.

“Enjoyable stayover venue that I would recommend”

I’ve stayed here before and the staff remain friendly and professional. The facilities are excellent and the location is ideal, so I enjoyed my two‑night business trip. The only downside was the DSTV problem; I could only watch free‑to‑air channels, so I missed SABC.
