The breakfast was very nice, healthy, and free of pre‑packaged items, fitting the wonderful ambience of this historic hotel; the grounds are beautiful, providing many outdoor seating spots. A larger shelf or small table for toiletries next to the bathroom sink would have been convenient, but I’m stretching to find a flaw in this historic building.

The hostess is amazing, an angel! I thoroughly enjoyed the music from the musician while dining in the glow of Mt Hood; he belted out some real toe‑tappers. The establishment oozes chic as soon as you walk through the main door, reflecting a lot of hard work. There’s also a 24‑hour Lauderette just around the corner.
