“Propriétaire antipathique”
The place was clean, and the housekeeper was friendly and helpful. The owner, however, behaved in a terrible way. We were three women spanning three generations, and all of us were shocked by his conduct. When we called to point out that, contrary to the listing, the pool was not private but shared among all units, he responded aggressively, telling us that if we were unhappy we could "leave." That night, after we returned to bed, we noticed that, despite our earlier request (which we had called in the afternoon to confirm), only two of the three beds were made; one of us had to sleep without a bottom sheet, top sheets, duvet cover, or pillowcase. The next morning, when we raised the issue, he raised his voice, shouted an "ohhhh" (as if I should be quiet), and dismissed it as a trivial detail. I've never seen such disrespect on any trip; it's disgraceful, a real old‑fashioned Italian patriarch we don't want to encounter again, and it ruined our stay.
